Experienced elite wheelchair athletes
If you are an experienced self-propelled wheelchair athlete with a racing wheelchair it is essential that you report to the Start Director by 12.15pm in order to start ahead of the main field of runners.
Can I have a refund if I can’t run?
NO – We do not offer refunds.
Am I able to give my place to someone else?
NO – We do not allow name changes once you have entered the race. Never swap your race number with any other runner either, as this can cause problems for our medical and results service. If race organisers become aware of anyone who swaps their race number they will be disqualified and reported to the UKA.
Where is the assembly point for the 10k?
The start assembly point is on the dual carriageway on Oystermouth Road (outside St Helens Rugby Ground) from approx 12.30pm. There will be a warm up 10 minutes before the race.
For the main Admiral Swansea Bay 10k race, the assembly area is split into time band zones. Please assemble in the area that corresponds to your predicted race finish time. This should ensure that you are running with runners of similar ability to give you the best possible experience and finish time.
Please take into consideration additional time for possible traffic queues and parking when planning your journey.
Time bands are placed on the walls of St. Helen’s Rugby Ground.
